Public Log Pages
Share your building journey with the world.
Overview
When you make a project public, Build on Record creates a beautiful public page where anyone can follow your progress. This is perfect for building in public, sharing updates with your audience, or keeping stakeholders informed.
URL Structure
User Profile
Your public profile shows all your public projects:
Project Page
Each public project has its own timeline page:
Project Details
A detailed page with project information and links:

Project README
If you have a public repository, add your Build on Record link to the README to show potential contributors your development journey.
Tips for Building in Public
- 1.Be authentic - Share both wins and challenges. People connect with real journeys, not just highlight reels.
- 2.Log consistently - Regular updates keep your audience engaged and build momentum.
- 3.Share milestones - Use title-only records for quick updates and detailed records for significant moments.
- 4.Keep some things private - Not everything needs to be public. Use private records for sensitive information.
- 5.Engage with your audience - Share your log URL when you post updates elsewhere to drive traffic.
